Hands of Hope
Biblical Roots ministry & counseling
Chapel of Hope—is our Not-for-Profit 501c3 organization. It’s through Chapel that we minister and teach the Biblical Roots.
This is our heart, the wellspring from which we choose to serve God, and it is a vital part of Promise and Chapel.
A branch of Chapel of Hope is Hands of Hope Ministries.
Hands of Hope—two or three days a month we do a BIG COOK DAY. Sometimes friends from our church and community volun- teer to help. We have a ‘big summer kitchen’ where we cook huge, healthy meals to distribute to young families and shut-in’s in our community. The last cook day, we prepared meals for 16 families and took them food boxes.
Promise Patches—we grow large quantities of different foods in our gardens and we process them in quantity with friends and family groups. We will pick several bushels of tomatoes in a day, pickup-loads of corn, then stock our shelves for later distribution to those who need the food. During the growing season we pass out boxes of fresh produce to families who are unable to have a garden.
Our goal is to:
- grow high brix foods
- cook high brix, high mineral foods
- make wise health choices at your grocery - get the most value out of your dollar
- and BE HEALTHIER!!
A portion of the proceeds from Promise Outreach are passed to Chapel of Hope. Chapel helps support ministries who are over- seas, out in the bush, providing daily necessities to those who have little of what we take for granted. Some of the ministries we help support is Iris Ministries, Mozambique, Africa (www.irismin.org), Convoy of Hope Europe (refugees), Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and Hands of Hope.
God bless, Mike & Su
