...Kids Kookies...thanks, Ginni...Papa loves these too...they're GREAT frozen!

the recipe calls for Eagle Brand condensed milk.  I make my own.  it's GREAT ...I actually make a big batch...the home-made condensed milk keeps a couple weeks in the frig in kerr jars...can be used in any recipe calling for it.






For the cookies...
1 1/2 cups of ho-made condensed milk
3 1/2 cups of coconut (more as needed so they form balls, but not too moist.
1 tsp vanilla
golden raisins or chopped dried apricots (any dried fruit works...I did dried cherries and added almond extract!  YUM!)

drop by Tablespoon onto an oiled cookie sheet.  they don't spread out so you can put alot of cookies on one sheet pan.

If you have a convection oven it works perfect.  but even in a regular oven...300 degrees for 12-15 min (or more...these are moist so it takes a little longer to bake them)...just watch so they don't burn.
